“ I stopped by Perq Coffee Bar for a hot drink and breakfast. The shop was packed around 9a on a weekday. I waited about 10 minutes before I was able to order which gave me enough time to figure out what I wanted. Matcha Sweet White + almond milk (4/5) - comforting matcha latte that was lightly sweetened Acai Bowl (5/5) - This acai bowl was packed with fruit and toppings. I loved the different textures, especially the cocoa almond butter and bee pollen. ”
“ I love their latte with almond milk. Their healthy breakfast bowl with coconut yogurt, granola and fruit is very good. I had the gluten free avocado which was nice and fresh. The toast could have been toastier. Service is great, one huy doing everything, incredible. Nice comfy place. ”
“ Fast review.. . Quick celebratory cappuccino decalf with nut milk. I was a $500 plus/month Starbucks gold card guy in NYC for years. They went woke and crazy and I stopped with them. THIS was a very very awesome brew and nicely made and tasty. A bit $$ but a nice treat for me. Service fast, pleasant. The place looks awesome for relaxing and I was waiting for the Sarasota retired Friends cast to show up?? (smile) ”
“ We stopped in here for breakfast before heading back home to Indianapolis. We each ordered a cappuccino with almond milk and a Breakfast Sammy with cheddar. We also got a blueberry cake donut and a pistachio muffin to share because they didn't have a whole lot of pastry options. There was only one person working when we went and it was very busy, so it was a little bit of a wait. Granted it was a Friday morning, so that could be why (or just because they are great). The coffee only came in one size, which I was a little sad about since we needed the pep for driving, but that's okay because they were delicious. The breakfast sandwiches came out super hot and after they cooled down a bit we devoured them. The parmesan egg was incredible!! So savory. We split the pistachio muffin and blueberry cake donut later on during our drive. While both were great, we both wished we had each just gotten our own blueberry cake donut. It was so moist and filled to the brim with blueberries. A must have little treat if you stop in! ”
“ I travel to lots of great coffee shops and I have to say Keith and Erin do it right @ Perq. All ingredients are top notch and crafted perfectly from the coffee drinks to the bagel sandwiches. Best Bagel Sandwich I've ever had, hands down. Featuring MadCap, Three Ships, and Heart roasters, the coffee hits the spot whether hot or cold, and Keith and Erin provide a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy their wonderful drinks and cuisine. ”
“ Perq is the best coffee shop around! We've been coming here for the last year and no coffee shop comes close to this one. Yes it's a little pricier than your average cafe, but the quality and smoothness of coffee is on another level. Iced flat white with maple always hits the spot! We always grab a bag to go as they're sourced from micro lots. Keith runs the show himself and the service is always top notch! ”

“ I was reading the reviews since I am an avid yelper haha, and I was surprised by the amount of people who said it was unfriendly service. I was greeted right away, was given an explanation as to why all the coffee was called something different, and even got an honest recommendation when I did not know what I was in the mood for. This guy knows his coffee! However, I will say I spent $13 on this coffee you see in this picture. I did get a quad shot and used oat milk with a combination of maple, but even so, at any coffee place I've ever gone to and got a custom drink like that, it has never been that much. The only thing I would complain about is the price and the average tasting coffee for that price The ambiance is fantastic! I love the atmosphere. It is fun, tranquil, and definitely gives you that downtown Los Angeles vibe. ”
“ Fantastic coffee and fantastic service. Never had a disappointing coffee from here. If you're a fan of Starbucks sugary drinks, this may not be the place for you. I love the Kyoto drip iced coffee and the flat whites. If you're hungry, their food options are amazing as well! I always tell myself I'm going for the coffee, but I end up getting sucked into to a tasty breakfast item every time. My personal favorite is the Biscuit Sammy w/ pimento cheese. It's definitely a hidden gem. ”
